Went with some friends the other day and it was amazing. Amber Spencer was our waitress and was perfect, definitely coming back because of her!

We were in town with a large group to watch the ACC tourney this past weekend and loved spending time at the Beer Garden. Our waitress was fantastic and dealt with a large group of 15 people with ease! The beer selection is amazing, staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful! I will make it a point to visit every time I am in town! Thank you for making our weekend great!!

Kyle was absolutely the best well informed and knowledgeable beer guide I have ever had the experience of dealing with. Twice, I had him select a flight of NC local less heard of beers (hoping to get things I have not tried before) and both times I was super surprised with the variety that he picked. Definitely gonna be coming back here!

Me and my fiance could not wait to try out the new beer garden.The menu looked great beer selection awesome but the service was the worst we have ever had. We were telling the waitress our first order and in the middle of it she decided to walk away for reasons we dont know but being in the hospitality business for 10 years I understand the business and respect the waiters the hostesses the cooks and managers. She was by far the worst server I've ever had in my whole 36 years. Walking away from the table when they're in the middle of taking an order to do whatever she wanted to do extremely disrespectful and very unprofessional and bad for your business.

Although the food was AMAZING, I probably will never return due to the terrible service Amanda gave my table. She never checked on my table and we had to chase her down when we needed something. And she passed the table like 5 times. I've worked in restaurants in NYC and even at the busiest and most stressful times ALL tables were attended to and serviced.

Cute place and had a lot of beer options but I opened a tab at the bar and was charged for burgers I didn't order. The bartender and staff were very rude about it and kept making passive aggressive comments that insinuated I was lying. I felt very disrespected. After about 15 minutes it was ultimately corrected but not without its share of eye rolls and comments.

I am a foreign national here in NC for 3 months. I was denied entry for not having any US issued ID, they didn't accept my country's driving license( with a photo and DOB, in English). I offered showing PICTURES of my passport and VISA since I did not carry the originals with me, but the guy at the gate very rudely refused to accept it.

I have been to the Raleigh Beer Garden many times (usually a wonderful place to go)... Which is saying a lot since we live an hour away. However, this experience was awful. Our table received the worst service. We waited about 10 mins to even get greeted which didn't really bother me but waiting 20 mins for drinks was quite annoying. We received our appetizer before drinks. We asked for waters and beers.... Never got the water until after we drank the beers. Asked for straws and never got those. The server (Andrew) says to us do you need anything else while I'm here... Yes the check ( we were going to order food and more drinks but after the rude service we just decided to leave). He got annoyed and walked off and came back 15 mins later. The rest of the staff was very friendly including the hostesses, the food and beer runners. I would have rather tipped them. We left as soon as he finally brought the check and went to another bar. Worst birthday restaurant experience ever.

The "Beer" selection is *Out of this World* and the food is excellent....the upper deck & outdoor seating A+!!!!!

Worst service I ever had. I Visited on a Thursday night two weeks ago, great service and food. So I took our family here Sunday around 4PM for an early dinner. We order a kids burger, The Beer Garden Burger, and the Summer Squash pizza. Both the burgers were burnt, (we ordered med rare), the adult burger was made with the orange marmalade bacon topping that we had asked to not have put on, and the there was no cheese on the kids burger, which we had asked to add. The kids burger was actually three pieces of a burger that were placed on the bun?? Also, not understanding how our food arrives before our drinks?? Sent the burgers back, so now we had one family member eating alone while the others waited for food. When the burgers arrived they were still burnt, complained to the server who shrugged his shoulders and told us, that the food here wasn't the greatest and the burgers especially are always dry. Wow! Your staff does not like your food! He asked us if we liked the food, we said no. He said: "Well I hope you still come back, and better luck next time." Seriously! Great concept, phenomenal facility, horrible service, horrible food, no consistency. A manager walked past several times, saw us sending the food back, never even stopped to ask why. My husband and I both work in the food and beverage industry, if we performed like at our jobs, we would be fired. If I spend $30 for a light meal, I expect that we would finish it, but it was not good at all. Still left the server a $5 tip, he seemed generally under-trained, unsure how to handle the poor service, and clearly did not believe in the food product. Please get this together, we live in downtown and want to see this business last, but based on today, it won't happen.

very slow service. Zero stars. If you are going out to eat, usually you get food brought to you with drinks and perhaps a smile and some semi respectable service. Tonight, none of that criteria was met. Anthony, our stoned invisible server, barely was able to give us our beer, forgivingly at first...but then it turned into the theme of the experience. As customers, we felt neglected in all accounts. Something most definitely went wrong. Our server must have forgotten to put our food in, and never was honest with us about it. In fact he blamed us saying "well you did order 3 pizzas", which are $10 personal pizzas served on naan bread,no dough cooking. I thought that was rude how our server never apologized for the extremely ridiculous long wait nor did he ever thank us. It was classic case of forgetting us because EVERYONE around us got food before us. We were enjoying our good company so didn't make s big deal about how awful our service was, but I am definitely never returning to the beer garden. At first I wanted to give Anthony the benefit of the doubt but by the end I felt no compassion for him. Clearly he didn't value his job, which trickled right down to our lousy experience.

Great food, great beer selection and loved the outdoor seating!

Call us at (919) 324-3415 to place reservations for Mondays through Thursdays. Due to the high volume
of customers on the weekends, we are unable to accept reservations on Fridays after 3PM.
We are not currently taking reservations on Saturdays or Sundays at all.
Thank you for understanding.

We offer various seating options including the "seat yourself/order at the bar" outdoor seating in the back garden.
